Our upstairs is coming down!
Welcome to the Auburn Family!
We always say we never know what kind of inventory is going to walk through our doors at New Leaf; maybe we should think that about people too! As Fall approaches, there has been a buzz around town about football season starting again very soon. If you haven’t heard, Auburn has recently brought on a new coach from the Atlanta Falcons. (You can check our more about him here.)
Now we aren’t just talking about this for the sake of being excited for the upcoming season… how that relates to New Leaf is that he has become a regular here as he has made a move to Auburn and furnishing his new home!
New Leaf would like to welcome Brian VanGorder, Auburn’s new Defensive Coordinator, to Auburn! He’s become a regular customer here at New Leaf and we are excited to have him as a part of the Auburn Family!
If you are ever in the store while he’s here, make sure you give him a great War Eagle welcome!
I tell you what, things are always interesting around here… I am pretty sure we could have our own TV show. Ha!

Get your game face on… We’re adding MANtiques.
This is for all of the wives out there who want to go shopping… now your husband will have a reason to come along– complaint free!
I’m not going to lie, my stomach kind of turned when Kevin said to me,
“What do you think about starting a man cave section upstairs?”
I knew exactly what I thought and it wasn’t something Kevin wanted to hear.
GROSS!
Antlers and tools? No way, not in my store.
However, my mind changed last weekend when Kevin called me and asked me to come down to the parking lot. I went down the stairs to find myself face to face with a box truck full of “man” stuff. The guys had been out all day digging through a barn– you know all of the exploring stuff I always want to do but I don’t get to (much like Danielle from the American Pickers)!
I hopped in the truck and despite all of my previous biased thoughts, I realized that maybe he was on to something.
We had a blast! We played like kids with all of the “rusty gold” they brought back and that’s when he decided to ask me once asked again,
“So do you want to do this?”
“I think so.”
And so, it has begun! I’m thankful I have guys around her to tell me if something is 
too girly as I do this, but it’s starting to shape up… perfect timing for Father’s Day! There’s still a lot to do, but we are excited to announce we now have “MANtiuqes” for all the guys out there.
