Kevin Beasley and his wife run New Leaf Consignment on East University Boulevard in Auburn.
With 2 floors and 6,500 square feet of space to house furniture in, he says their business has grown in the three years it’s been open.
“We sell furniture, home decor so anything that would go in your home that doesn’t have a cord on it- except for lamps, we do sell lamps,” he says.
The furniture comes from customers like Ginger Whatley who has a house full of real wood furniture pieces she doesn’t use anymore.
“Most people are familiar with clothing consignment stores. It’s a place where you take clothing you don’t need anymore, and you sell it, and you get a portion of the money back. We do the same thing with home décor,” says Beasley.
“It’s great, everything I’ve ever bought has been top quality and good shape, very happy with everything I’ve bought,” says Whatley.
